Like its companion hits collection, there is a bounty of songs to be heard. Jay compiled this recording to highlight songs that were perennially popular in concert. There are three rarities among the sixteen tracks: "I'm a Liar" is a political parody (to the tune of Bruce Springsteen's "I'm on Fire") that previously was available only as a single. (Karen swears she heard it played on Rush Limbaugh's show, of all places.) "Bright Side of the Street" is a stripped-down version performed with The Abstractions (David Gowler and Scott Haworth). The collection ends with Jay coming full circle and performing with Karen on a new recording of "The Light That Burns the Brightest."
